BMW: half of the cars sold electric by 2030
Car manufacturer BMW wants half of all cars that the company sells to be electric by 2030. The plan is that around that time, the MINI subsidiary will only sell electric vehicles.
BMW announced the plans at an annual meeting for analysts and investors. Some of the projects had already been leaked, such as that all MINIs become fully electric.
BMW also only wants to make cars based on reusable parts and materials. In addition to the BMW and MINI brands, Rolls-Royce also belongs to the BMW group.
