Manchester United wants to strengthen itself next summer with none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. The 36-year-old Portuguese is reportedly allowed to leave Juventus, and Ole Gunnar Solskj√¶r’s club wants to take advantage of the situation.

Several Portuguese media report that Manchester United has already sent a formal proposal to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo played football for Manchester United between 2003 and 2009. He then made the switch from Sporting Lisbon. In 2007-2008 he had a dream season with 42 goals. He also had an important share in the English national title and the Champions League.

In total, he scored 118 times for Manchester United.
