Sony has postponed the release of the first PlayStation 5 games due to protests in many American cities in recent days. New seasons of Call of Duty games have been delayed for the same reason.
Sony would present the first games for the PlayStation 5 on June 4 but has postponed that. According to Sony, this is ‘no time for celebration’. “Now is the time to step back because there are more important voices to be heard,” said Sony.
The company refers to the peaceful and violent protests in many American cities. The protests began last week after the death of George Floyd, a black man who was suffocated after a neck clip by a white police officer.
